The two parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas: • Developing the production of diagnostic materials and vaccines for liver diseases due to parasitic infections. • Establishing a partnership that contributes to achieving sustainable development in implementation of Egypt's 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy. • Cooperation in the fields of creativity, innovation, commercialization and promotion of each other's activities. • Scientific training and academic cooperation. • Exchange of technical information and scientific visits. • Organizing and supporting scientific meetings, conferences and workshops.

MOU with Saxony Egypt University for Applied Science and Technology

Saxony Egypt University for Applied Science and Technology (SEU) and Theodor Bilharz research institute (TBRI) affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research, in contribution to increased co-operation between them in the medical field in general and with the Faculty of Healthcare at SEU in particular, agree to implement, within the framework of the regulations applying in each of the institutions and subject to the availability of resources, the following programs and activities: (i) Internships for SEU students (Faculty of Healthcare) at TBRI.

MOU with Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig Univerity

The Memorandum of Understanding aims at the participation of the Faculty of Medicine - Zagazig University and Theodor Bilharz Research Institute to create a new generation of researchers in the medical and health fields, seeking scientific progress without disturbing the environmental elements, as Theodor Bilharz Research Institute is the largest of its kind in Egypt and the region in the field of scientific research, and the training and research tools that the two parties need to qualify distinguished youth who are aware of specialized knowledge and skills goals within a framework of equality, joint cooperation and exchange of privileges.

MOU with El-Galala University

Developing joint training programs for graduate and postgraduate students to take advantage of the common and complementary areas in each institution where trainees will gain interdisciplinary perspectives. - Initiating collaborative research and graduation projects to enhance the shared skills of faculty and students at both institutions. -Enhancing research capabilities by sharing facilities, equipment and core expertise that will create additional funding opportunities for joint research projects. - Cooperating in launching joint training courses and workshops. - Making equipment available that is not available at Theodor Bilharz Institute, to be used through joint research or as services provided by Galala University to the institute or the institute to the university.
